PhD Programs
Among the 15 students who completed the program, those wishing to continue their training as academic economists received offers of admission in the PhD programs of:
Stanford University, Northwestern University, University of Pennsylvania, London School of Economics, Columbia Business School, University of California, Los Angeles, HEC Paris – Economics, University of Oxford – Saïd Business School, Duke University (3), University College London – Financial Economics, Bocconi University (2), CEMFI (2), LMU Munich (2), University of Bonn, Pompeu Fabra University / Barcelona School of Economics (3), National University of Singapore, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, University of Zurich – Finance (2), Imperial College London – Business School, Finance, University of Mannheim (2), University of Southern California, University of Minnesota Twin Cities, The Ohio State University, KU Leuven, BI Norwegian Business School, The Swiss Finance Institute – University of Lausanne, Arizona State University, Berlin School of Economics, São Paulo School of Economics, RED, and the University of Zurich.
The final placement of 13 of the 15 students was in the PhD programs of:
Stanford University, Northwestern University, London School of Economics, London School of Economics – Management, Columbia Business School, University of California, Los Angeles, HEC Paris – Economics, Duke University, Bocconi University, University of Zurich – Finance, KU Leuven, São Paulo School of Economics, and RED.
The remaining two students chose to pursue a one-year pre-doctoral position at Chicago Booth and CUNEF.
In addition, the two students who pursued pre-doctoral positions last year have now been admitted to the following PhD programs: The George Washington University, Arizona State University, Washington University in St. Louis. The first two institutions represent their final placements.
